Shifting Gears - June Edition

If you've tried the past puzzles, this June edition will require a few extra moves than past puzzles.  Once again, the object of the game is to move the gears out of the way to free the shaft to exit the gear box.

How to play:

1. Open shifting gears-June.sldasm from the attached zip in SOLIDWORKS 2022 or higher

   1.  

2. Press the Move Component command and make sure to enable Collision Detection
   1. Check between: All components
   2. Stop at collision
   3. Dragged part only
3. Move the gears around until the red shaft is free to exit the gear box

Hints:

• It is helpful to orient the assembly in a Top view
• You can Reload your assembly to start over
• If a gear gets jammed and won't move, you can move a nearby gear and try again or temporarily turn off "Stop at collision
• Leaving some clearance around your gears as you move them into position minimizes them getting jammed.
• Alternatively, try the "Physical Dynamics" option without the option "Dragged part only"
