Hi,

I am working on a FEA study of a frame consisting of rectangular tube elements (as shown in the image). The footprint of the frame is approximately 2mx1.4m and the wall thickness of the frame is 5 mm. 

My question is if there is a general rule that I should apply when meshing a geometry like this with a solid mesh? Especially, with regards to the number of mesh cells that I have across the thickness
