Int he middle of a 45 page project and cant copy anything. I copy it and go to place it and it disappears. cant copy and paste a page either. copy it and paste command is greyed out

tried saving it, tried closing it, restarting it, restarting the computer. Im out of options. Any help would be appreciated!
