I have a part that is colored blue at the part level.  On top of that I have gold surfaces that I created an appearance for.  I want to remove the gold color from 2 of those surfaces.  When I remove the surfaces from the list, it doesn't show those surfaces as removed once I select the green checkmark box.  What am I doing wrong?
