This is an ongoing issue with solidworks and its trash drawing interface. I have created a drawing using a mulitbody part and in the view shown, I only selected a few solid bodies from that part so the 'drawing views' are larger than the geometry that I am simply detailing out and when I create a detail view and moved it tighter to the geometry, now the detail view box is within the drawing view box
