I design large galvanized steel components, and need a way to have the weight of the component include the weight of the galvanizing. The plating is about 0.6kg/m², for our larger items it comes to 100kg extra weight.

I've used a few methods, none of which are really satisfactory, wondered if anyone here has a better idea?

• Use an equation to calculate the SW mass plus 0.6kg per m² - this is OK for drawing
