Background: I am going to start a project where I will be creating designs for mixing tanks (pulpers) used to produce pulp in the paper industry. It is important for me to understand the stresses that are experienced in the tank walls and the support structures during the mixing process. The mixing process generally consists of water, recycled paper or other solid materials. The goal of the project
