So I believe solidworks is crashing one of the threads that it uses on the CPU. I can cause a crash literally on demand (when creating a section view of an assembly) (VIDEO Below). It seems like all it is is creating a cross section of an assembly and it doesn't matter how small the assembly is, here you can see the assembly is tiny, and still when we crash there seems to be something that causes saturation
