I'm wondering about one thing. I have to build a big assembly with more than 100 parts (I think). It's an item that someone else built for my company and I have to make a model from scratch based on measurements on the actual object. (Nope, doesn't make one lick of sense to me, but... it is what it is...).

Since parts have to fit perfectly and such, I have decided to use a circular design: bottom-up-top-down.
