With the two offset section view options in SolidWorks, the jog line is excluded (as it should be!) from the material being cut. Unfortunately, it still appears as an edge in any "background" geometry. If I sketch my own cutting plane line, I know that I have to make those jog lines as construction geometry to keep the edge from showing in the material being cut, but it also still appears as an edge
