I am building a layout sketch that involves meshing gears and belts, and the overconstrained error keeps making strange recommendations for what shouldn't even be overconstrained. I started one set of gear pitch diameters as blocks that are a specific X and Y distance from the origin, and every other meshing gear is a traction relation, also determined by the belt connecting them.
The error is the original XY distance from the origin, and a horizontal constraint. Both are required, and make no sense why they would be conflicting. I even tried determining the belt center distance with a formula instead of via the belt sketch entity, but that didn't help.
The largest circle is concentric to the planet gears, but not otherwise connected, in case that wasn't already obvious.
Any idea how I can stop Solidworks from claiming this is overconstrained, when it very definitely isn't?
