Solid works maker. I have a hotfix. I go to my dashboard,clikc on SW Connected, and get the "unbale to retrieve installed data" error. This happening every damned time there is a hotfix. Before I had to have support talk me through a deep clean uninstall ,do a bunch of other crap, and then create a firewall expectation. 

Is there ANY way to fix this that isn't involved and takes having a support agent
