I wrote a macro which copies individual parts into a folder so that they can be processed by our sheetmetal processing software. It opens a dialog box asking for a quantity, and appends this to the end of the filename along with the gauge property (i.e.: "27137 Filler Panel 18ga 4x.sldprt"). It also has a function to truncate the filename to 23 characters, as that software chokes on longer filenames.
