Not sure how or why this is happening but for years now centerlines will just randomly vanish from my drawings and when I try to add them back to the drawing it tells me that I can't make a centerline between the features as one already exists. Any idea why this happens or how I can get it to stop?

P.S. Its not a layers issue as I've confirmed it's not just moving it to a hidden layer by turning on
