My son  will be studying engineering in college. We’re shopping for a laptop that will run SOLIDWORKS very well. 
He has his eye on a laptop with the following specs. 

GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Graphics Card

Intel Core i7 12800H CPU

32 GB Ram

We don’t see this graphics card on the list of compatible ones. But he has heard that it works. Anyone an expert in this?

Is this computer a good choice?
