I'm encountering a strange glitch and can't seem to find a fix.

One specific subassembly in my drawing refuses to 'take' a balloon. When starting the balloon command and selecting any edge or face on the affected subassy, the cursor moves as if a balloon was placed but no balloon shows. When clicking a second time, it brings me back to the balloon command.
