For about the last week, my search function in our PDM system is refusing to work correctly.

If I do a PDM "description" search, I'm getting only SLDPRT and SLDDRW files returned. There's no SLDASM files returned at all. This behaviour is the same regardless of whether I'm doing it in the File>Open dialog box or in windows explorer itself. This issue is the same for everyone using our vault, all users, all workstations.

It's like there's some vault setting that's changed, but I can't find what that is. I've gone through the vault admin tool trying to see if I can find any setting buried anywhere, but I'm unable to find any.

If I do a search via filename or other attribute (like workflow state) all the file types are returned, this only seems to be an issue if searching by description.

Has anyone else seen this issue or can anyone suggest where I might look to resolve it?
