Does anyone know if there are any plans for better support for multi-conductor terminals - with 3 or 4 connection points that are permanently connected (ie. things like PHOENIX CONTACT | Feed-through terminal block - ST 2,5-QUATTRO - 3031306 - not a multi-level terminal block.
Basically I'd like to be able to add terminal as normal, and Solidworks Electrical handle it nicely, and recognises which "wires" get hidden inside the terminal (like it does when you create bridges).
I think the attached picture explains when I'm trying to achieve - I'm only looking at wire 65 - the common potential for the PLC inputs.
I did try this on our VAR - they suggested creating dedicated symbols for each terminal that shows multiple terminal rings - it works as far as the TB editor & component list go, but it's really high maintenance and difficult to re-use.
If you try to associate multiple terminal symbols to the same terminal component - Solidworks Electrical incorrectly assumes they're multiple level terminal blocks, and create extraneous wires
Does anyone have any better solutions?
