I guess this is all one big forum now.  

I have an assembly model with multiple configurations which have the "suppress new components" option selected, due to different parts. However, there are parts like fasteners that I want in most configurations.

I've tried to "configure component", but it doesn't work. How do I override the configuration settings during a Configure Component to allow the settings to be accepted?
