I was unable to view surface curvature combs, dispite enabling them. The mesh preview lines were present but not the combs. However there seemed to be some graphical glitch on the surface when mousing over; black points (six pointed stars) would be rendered on the mesh preview intersections, but only in seemingly random rectangular sections of screenspace, and would disappear again when the mouse left
