Ok. So. I don't know how this new forum twitter crap works. It looks like 💩 and I don't have the time to wonder and poke and find out what xxx (enter your favorite abuse word here please) were thinking when they made this.

I am using soliddoesn't work 2021.

I want to render (with perspective ON) a multi-body part with ALL dimensions on (simultaneously) for all bodies.

So far I don't get anything directly usable. As soon as I select render with dimensions I get a bar saying that the rendering is being transferred to photoview then the program freezes for a couple of minutes, then I finally get something... that's basically crap, as you can see below.

So what am I supposed to do with that, huh? I mean... really?

Anyway. What I have done so far and I am sick of doing is this:

1. Create a sketch for each orientation I want to have dimensions on.

2. Select a sketch to make it visible (without opening it), then render with dimensions

3. While the program is doing something I cannot see for an undetermined period of time (while it looks like solidwhatever has crashed) I can grab a cup of coffee (the right move) or try to find anything in this new forum-wanna-be (the wrong move).

4. When the picture is done, I get to see that it looks like above because... I don't know? I mean... it's not like I had a preview of this crap to prevent me from wasting 5 mins of my time. Really?

5. Rinse and repeat until I get something usable (and by usable I mean, where the model texture does not overlap with the dimensions and is in a corner or something).

6. Rinse and repeat for each sketch I have created with the proper dimensions.

7. When this is all done (bare in mind, without moving the model or even touching it), I render the model without dimensions, in the very same position.

8. Edit ALL images in GIMP: On the images with dimensions - delete everything that isn't a dimension; include model texture as well as contours. Then add alpha channel to all images, select the white background, turn it transparent then copy paste the images on top of each other and then I might get something kind of usable. Until someone comes and decides that the angle of the image is wrong. And then I have to do it all over again.

So. How do I do this? I mean... it's not 2010. It's not 2015. It's 2021. Get it? 2021. This should be possible?!
