I'm trying to figure out how to work configurations with virtual parts in an assembly.  My situation is:

• I downloaded a multibody part from a vendor
• Since I want the part to be "live", I separated the multibody part into individual static parts that will be moving relative to one another
• I imported those static parts into an assembly, and arranged the mates to match the motion limits
