Can anyone tell me what exactly the "Save model data" option does on SolidWorks files? This is found in the settings here: Document properties > Performance > Save model data (check box).

Also - does this option have any impact on drawing files when previewing the file in PDM with eDrawings as a viewer or opening up the file in eDrawings?
