Recreation of a thread to bring it back on top. Does anyone know how to keep solidworks files from using memory even after they are closed? I attached a snip of my screen and you can see that I have no files open, but the task manager shows that the assembly is still using up over 3GB of memory. I have also noticed that if I open 1 part then a 2nd part and then close the 2nd part, the memory usage does not return to what was only being used in the 1st part. Thank you in advance for your help!
