I've been searching to try and find a solution to this but have been hitting dead ends. Currently using SW Electrical Schematic 2D for designing our wire harnesses and I'm having an issue with revisioning. 

For the most part, we use a major revision scheme (ie. A, B, C, etc), but in certain cases (if we're only updating our ERP, title block, etc) we will also use a minor revision (ie. A1). For
