I have a drawing of a shaft. One section of the shaft has a critical diameter of 3.748 inches right next to a nominal diameter of 3.750 inches. If I smart dimension to the 2 outer surfaces of the shaft (the 3.748" area) I get a dimension of 3.750". If I reduce the model to a dimension of 3.747" or smaller, the dimension will be correct.
