I am developing an addin that forces Solidworks to replace some dependencies by using the ReferencedFilePreNotify event. 

This works great, but when the user opens an assembly in Large design review mode I would like to skip this behaviour.

It seems however that the ReferencedFilePreNotify event is also fired in Large design review mode (even if I can't understand why, since components aren't
