I am trying to simulate what I thought would be a fairly straightforward connection. I have a beam and a lifting lug. But for the life of me, I can't work out how to simulate welds without having to do shells. I really don't understand the point of making something so simple into a shell - it's basically remodelling it which takes more time than it would to simulate. How do people typically simulate
