Hi, I'm looking for thoughts/recommendations on storing non-CAD data in ePDM.

Our PDM system contains over 36GB of non-CAD data(STL, STP, DXF, XLS, ZIP, etc).  These files can be;

data from/for a vendor, data for 3D printing, calculations, simulation results and others.  None of these files are being managed.

Wanted to get others thoughts on whether PDM is the best place to store this type of data. Thanks
