We just upgraded to SolidWorks 2024 SP5.0

We are having new problem in this version resetting the Windows Registry back to Out of the Box fresh install settings. When we do this in this version, we are loosing some menus like the gear icon on the upper menu bar.  I'm not sure how to get this back or why we are having this problem.  See screenshot 1 for missing gear icon.
