I have a question regarding the approach to surface design. I am creating an ergonomic handle. I started by designing the main body, including the finger grooves, top, and bottom wings. However, I would also like to add the palm contact area (see sketch).

What do you think would be the best approach to tackle this issue? Should I cut a part of the surface to recreate the corresponding
