SOLIDWORKS 2023 SP5 w/PDM Professional.

I have users who receive an error message when accessing PDFs in the vault "SOLIDWORKS PDM - No database is connected to this view."  The errors appear when using Adobe or a web browser to view the PDFs. 

I looked in the PDM Admin tool and see many E_EDM_DATABASE_ACCESS errors regarding the SQL Server.

The last time I checked with IT, we should be running SQL Server
