For users who need to make stick font annotations (engraving, tool paths, etc) we know about OLF Simple Sans font. Are there others to be found? I have a customer who needs to generate something like a transparent decal in reverse (mirrored text) to be applied to a real world part and be light etched. They MUST have stick fonts. Their process works thru Creo with special fonts created by the Creo folks (not windows fonts). They sketch a few lines and circles for boundaries, add the notes, convert the notes to geometry (the fonts become uneditable lines and arcs), mirror the entire lot and send the result to their machinery to make the "decal" product. Somewhere along the line they need to control the line thicknesses of the letters. They do this by assigning colours (which are interpreted as line thicknesses). They are not averse to somehow directly controlling line thicknesses.
They have tried doing the work directly in drawings but the OLF SimpleSans fills in the letters and does not work (see 1st pic).
I have tried in a part sketch and there is some promise using that font (see pic with reversed lettering...note other fonts are not stick fonts). In individual sketche some can control sketch color, a good thing.
1) Are there other stick fonts out there that could be used in SW to achieve this?
2) How would one convert the text to geometry?
