Planning to upgrade to 2024 version in the near future. Found out that starting 2022 all SW perpetual licenses would require annual reactivation.

Q1: Why? Does this improve anything?

Q2: When activation expire, does it mean the license is dis-associated with the current machine and I can activate it on another machine if wish to?
