i am trying to create a cylindrical sheet metal part that has an intersecting spline created on the i.d. of the cylinder from a part in an assembly. the blue highlighted surface is what intersects the cylinder. i'm trying to make a dxf with a layer that our plasma table will use to etch the profiles of the blades (highlighted part) so that when rolled the blades can be lined up with the etchings. is this something that can be done or do i need to figure out a different way?
