I took a further look at the part and noticed that it is a smaller component. One thing that you might see, when using Automatic Feature Recognition is that the tools need to be changed to smaller diameters so it can create a toolpath like you are used to seeing. I have created a video of a part that was sent in to demonstrate how to use the multi-surface features for exterior faces as well as adding a tool to your crib. This video also shows how you can use interactive feature recognition to place pockets and bosses without Automatic Feature Recognition. This process is helpful if you are machining only specific areas of the part or doing rework on components.
