Tags are simple keywords you can assign to your content to make it more searchable in the search box and easy to find throughout the Community.

Assign tags to content

1. Open or create content (a document, blog, discussion, or poll for example), and scroll to the bottom of the page to the Tags box.

Tip: Tag Everything!

2. Choose keywords or tags that fit your content and enter them here. Separate tags and tag phrases with commas. You can tell a tag has successfully rendered when a grey overlay appears over the word(s):

Tip: Do not use any other symbols besides commas and spaces (to separate words in phrases). The tag box is not case sensitive.

3. You can also consider using any of the tags that automatically appear in the suggestion box as you begin typing.

Adding Categories

Categories differ from tags as they are added by us to define major grouping (eDrawings, SolidWorks, etc.). Selecting a category also helps others find your content.
