Account FAQs

    To gain access to the SolidWorks Customer Portal and SolidWorks Forums you need to create a login. If you are a customer with active Subscription Service, you have access to all the Subscription Service features in the SolidWorks Customer Portal and SolidWorks Forums.

     

    Creating an account:

     

    1. Go to the account creation page.
       
    2. If you are a customer with a SolidWorks serial #, enter your serial number and click Next.

      Note
      : The advantage to using your SolidWorks serial # is you don't need to enter your company information.
      You can add products later within the My Products section of the SolidWorks Customer Portal.
       
    3. If you do not have a SolidWorks serial #, select Guest and click Next.    1.png 
       
    4. Fill in the remaining required information. Once you have completed creating your account, you will be emailed with a link to activate you account.

     

    Note: Once you have an account, you can log into either the SolidWorks Customer Portal and SolidWorks Forums. Once you have logged in, you can access either site without having to log in again.

    Forgot your password?

     

    Click the Forgot your Password link at the bottom of the SolidWorks Customer Portal and SolidWorks Forums login pages. It will ask you for your email address and send a link to reset your password.

     

    Don't have access to Subscription Service features?

     

    Login to the SolidWorks Customer Portal and check what it says at the top of the page.

    If you do not have access and you have a current Subscription Service contract:

      • Check to see if your products are listed under the My Products section of the SolidWorks Customer Portal.
      • If not, add your products within the My Products area.
      • If you cannot add products, it most likely means you created your account with a company name or address that does not match the serial #. For these cases, you can contact your VAR (Value-Added Reseller) or email customercentersr@solidworks.com. Include your contact information, serial #, and a full description of the issue.

     

    Need to change your profile?

     

    Login and review your profile and make any change necessary. Remember to save your changes.

    This page also has options to:

      • Change your password.
      • Change your account information or email address.
      • Remove an old company contacts.

    Contact your VAR (Value-Added Reseller) or email customercentersr@solidworks.com. Please include your contact information, serial #, and a full description of the issue.
