This document attachment demonstrates how to connect to a SolidWorks Addin from a standalone C# application using ISldWorks::GetAddInObject and call an Addin method. The example Addin is a COM-based C++ addin and the C# application uses early binding. In the Addin, reset the Project\Properties\Configuration Properties\C/C++ "Additional Include Directories" to locate the SolidWorks typelibs (tlb), and compile the Addin. In the C# application, reset the references for locating the SolidWorks interops and the Addin dll, compile it and run.
